This is a juried exhibit, but there are no hanging fees. This exhibit is only open to CHAC Members.
 
 SHOW STATEMENT 
​

Our ancestors are dear and close to our hearts. They are the ones who laid the foots steps for where we are today, and endured many hardships. They also passed down great beauty to us in many different forms (cooking, arts, spirituality, community, traditions, and much more); that beauty shines through us as we walk on our paths. Art is one of the ways in which we honor, remember and Dance with our Ancestors

DEADLINES & DATES:

Online Submission: 2/20/24 by 5pm (accepted artists will be notified by 2/23/24) 
Drop Off: 2/25/24 from 10-12
Pick-up: 3/30/24 from 10-12

Fees: None

*Showing artists must pick-up and drop-off on scheduled dates


LIMITATIONS:

  • Art must fit show statement 

  • Art must be family friendly 

  • No pieces larger than 16x20 

  • 2 pieces may be submitted (only 1 will be accepted due to space in gallery)

  • Art must be hanging ready (wired, etc. no saw tooth)

  • Commision is 30%

  • All entries must be for sale

  • Sculptures are welcome (height limit is 24")

*There is no hanging fee


SHOW RULES: 
Liability and Responsibility, CHAC and its partners will take reasonable care in...

  1. Handling all entries but will not assume liability for loss or damage.

  2. A signed waiver is required for all entries.

  3. Showing artists must pick-up and drop-off on scheduled dates

Fill out the Exhibit Submission Form

STEP TWO:

Please note, your images MUST be titled with your name and the title and dimensions of the artwork. (To rename JPEG files, right-click on the JPEG image on your computer, scroll down to ‘Rename’ and click, and then re-title your file with the correct naming convention).
