Legacy Giving

For nearly half a century, the Chicano Humanities and Arts Council (CHAC) has been the beating heart of Colorado’s Latine creative community. From our humble beginnings in 1978 operating out of a mobile van to establishing historic roots in Denver and Lakewood, CHAC has opened doors for generations of visual artists, musicians, performers, and writers.
By leaving a legacy gift to CHAC, you ensure that our heritage is preserved, our storytellers remain heard, and future generations always have a vibrant space to celebrate Chicana/o/x and Latina/o/x arts and culture.
Simple Ways to Create Your Legacy
-
Bequests in a Will or Trust
You can designate a specific dollar amount, a piece of property, or a percentage of your estate to CHAC.
-
Retirement & Insurance Beneficiaries
Name CHAC as a beneficiary of your IRA, 401(k), or life insurance policy. This is often as simple as filling out a single online form with your account custodian.
If you are considering including CHAC in your estate plans, please let us know. Notifying us of your plans will remain strictly confidential. To discuss how you can shape the future of CHAC and continue its legacy as Colorado's oldest Latino arts organization cultural arts landscape, please contact Brenda Gurule, Executive Director, at brenda@chacgallery.org or call 720-662-4822 for a private, confidential discussion.
