About Milagros de Corazón
Milagros del Corazón, meaning "Miracles of the Heart," is the Chicano Humanities & Arts Council's (CHAC) annual community art exhibition and fundraiser. This event draws its inspiration from the desire to empower individuals through creative expression. CHAC invites both its artist members and the general public to craft unique "art hearts," culminating in a diverse and inspiring collection created by a community of creatives. 

These one-of-a-kind pieces profoundly express each artist's individual perspective, fostering both personal expression and communal art-making. The crafted hearts are then donated back to CHAC, where they are auctioned to generate vital support for the organization's community + educational programs. 

This initiative directly contributes to CHAC's mission, which is deeply rooted in the belief that art serves as a powerful instrument for community building, cultural enrichment, and celebration. Milagros del Corazón perfectly embodies CHAC's core values by preserving, promoting, and celebrating Chicana/o/x, Latina/o/x, and broader multicultural artistic traditions.
