Choose your membership plan

Once a CHAC Member:

1.  E-mail is THE primary way CHAC Gallery sends members important information (social media will also have information posted).

2. Once a member you will start receiving e-mails about submitting your artwork to exhibits and other opportunities. 

3. Set-up your Artist Page to have a photo and bio on the Artist Page of the website. Scroll down for directions. 

4. CHAC Gallery operates on part-time staff and while we do our best to respond to e-mails promptly it could take up to a week to respond to e-mails.

Minimum Art Requirements:

1.  All art must be wired and ready to hang.  

2.  Unframed art must have edges finished OR framed.

3.  All art must be family friendly.

4. Size restrictions will be determined on a show to show basis.

5. No repeat art may be accepted

CHAC Member Shows:

There is no theme and therefore artists can hang the artwork of their choice. There is no cost for members. Each artist can hang 2-3 pieces depending on space available. This show is curated by a CHAC member, let us know if you would like to be a curator. Please see Curator Responsibilities to know what the curator and artists are expected to do for a CHAC Member Show.

Call for Entry Show:

This is a themed show. Artists may submit 1-3 pieces depending on space available with an entry fee of $20 for members and $50 for non-members.

Artist Promotion:

CHAC will feature and promote artist on website and all social media outlets.

1)    Read Artist Profile Standards below 

2)    Click Log-in (upper right-hand corner) of CHAC website www.chacgallery.org 

·     If you signed up in person fill out the sign-up form

·     If you signed up online go to Already a Member and scroll down to find the Log-In (You may need to reset your password)

3) Once Logged in click your name in the upper right-hand corner and click the profile in the pull-down

4) Click photo icons to upload photos (there are two). 

5) Click About. A box will pop up and you can type your bio here. 

6) Please e-mail eventcoordinator@chacgallery.org if your profile does not become live on the artist page within 7 business days.

Artist Profile Standards:

1)    Your image must be high-quality (no blurry images), and an image of your artwork is preferable.

2)    Use correct grammar and punctuation in the biography section. 

3)    All materials in artist profile must be family-friendly

4)    The biography section should be 3-5 sentences about you as an artist or the artwork that you want to share on the website. 

 

*If CHAC asks you to bring an image or text to Artist Profile Standards, you have 3 weeks to correct it, or we reserve the right to hide your profile until it is up to CHAC Gallery’s standards.

Responsibility:

1. Artist members are required t o volunteer a minimum of 10 hours annually . If the artist wishes to forgo volunteer hours, they can convert hours to a $100.00 donation.

2. CHAC retains 30% of all sales, artist receives 70%.

3. Artist Membership is valid for 365 days from date of joining or renewing date. ***Any specials being offered will be prorated.

4. No automatically recurring payments.

5. Membership fees cannot be deducted from sales due to accounting practices.

6. Membership fees must go through Point of Sale.
