May First Friday Opening - Fiesta Flor y Canto

THEME: Fiesta Flor y Canto/In Xochtil, In Cuicatl

Originally a Nahuatl celebration of poetry, the Festival of Flower and Song rose to prominence during The Chicana/o Movement, organized by student and community organizations. Our CHAC Flor y Canto celebrates Spring / La Primavera through music, dance, song, poetry and storytelling.

Artwork will be on display through the end of May and will also include non-themed artwork from CHAC Gallery members.
