About the Artists

Tony Ankele Creating works that will take the viewer on a journey through fantasy, realisms and impressionistic creations that are created in mind or influenced by nature and the environments that I have been exposed to. Having minimal formal training, I have studied independently throughout my artistic career. I have also had the opportunity to absorb artistic direction and invite the influences offered by influential artists that I have befriended throughout my career. These resources have influenced me to create in many mediums and in several techniques that keep my creativity open to an array of subject matter and offer me an unrestricted and open canvas to create in various mediums to manipulate and express myself.

Jay Jaramillo Hello World! My name is Jay Michael Jaramillo, I have been an artist all my life; learning from my father, Jerry Jaramillo who is a renowned artist, sculptor & jeweler. I was always encouraged to follow my passion in life and I can proudly say I have been living the dream as an artist as long as I can remember.  I explored numerous styles of painting to create my own unique style which includes: traditional portrait painting, cubism, surrealism and street art to reflect my contemporaries. I receive most of my inspiration from the beauty of life in all shapes and forms while also seeking to display the cosmic energies on Earth and in the cosmos.

Jerry Jaramillo "The materials I choose to work with inspire me to shapes where sensual, flowing lines create a definite organic feeling in the finished work. These are natural illusions which are particularly apparent in works of stone, yet are evident in all the media I choose for each project. Although some have said my sculptures create an ambience of natural erosion by wind and water, I prefer to aspire toward a sense of the future while subtly appearing to the senses that the source of all inspiration comes from the Earth. There is an evolutionary process to thought and creation, and I believe those who experience my work should be allowed the absolute freedom to make their own interpretations in any way they may find meaningful to them. Such is the real freedom in discovery, and I like to encourage it. "

Sony Valdez Denver Moses “Sonny” Valdez established his artistic roots over the course of 25+ years working as a custom automotive painter.  With brushed metal as his canvas, automotive paint as his medium and imagination seeding his artistic dreams, Sonny Valdez is creating contemporary abstract works of art that are hard to restrict to a certain genre. Valdez works on pieces of brushed metal etching unique patterns onto them with grinding tools and finishing them with "candy coated" shades of automotive paint. Although metal is used as his primary canvas and occasionally wood now, he is also using Acrylic Plexiglas and always experimenting with anything else that comes to mind. He often anticipates a color or combination of color patterns in his head and starts a piece with this in mind.Sonny has now created an entire new genre of ultramodern, sleek, wall art. Because his work is so unique and “one of a kind”, it is different to categorize his style, though Sonny refers to it as ‘Contemporary Abstract Art’. He also creates custom designs to match any décor, design or space. Sonny is looking forward to reaching out to expand his connections and to share his work!
