 SHOW THEME​:  

​

A bold, high-energy group show celebrating the richness and resilience of Chicano culture through visual art.

This exhibition is all about pride, roots, and self-expression without apology. We’re seeking work that speaks to Chicano identity, tradition, resistance, community, and cultural evolution, whether through traditional techniques or contemporary approaches.

DEADLINES & DATES: 

Online Submission: Aug. 26th by 6 PM
Drop Off: Sunday, Aug. 31st from 10 am-12 noon
Pick-up: Oct. 26th from 10 am-12 noon

Fees: None for CHAC Members; Non-Members pay $10 per piece accepted 

*Showing artists must pick-up and drop-off on scheduled dates

LIMITATIONS: 

• Art must fit show theme: Chicano Art

• Art must be family friendly 

• No pieces larger than 16x20 

• 3 pieces may be submitted (only 1 may be accepted due to space in gallery)

• Art must be hanging ready (wired, etc. no saw tooth)

• Commission is 30%

• All entries must be for sale

• Sculptures are welcome (height limit is 24") and artist must bring their own pedestal.

* There is no submission fee for CHAC artists; however, if you are not a CHAC artist there

is a $10 hanging fee per art piece chosen.

SHOW RULES: 

Liability and Responsibility, CHAC and its partners will take reasonable care in...

1. Handling all entries but will not assume liability for loss or damage.

2. A signed waiver is required for all entries.

3. Showing artists must pick-up and drop-off on scheduled dates
